Gamma Ray - Land Of The Free

Gamma Ray es una banda Alemana creada a finales de los años 80 por el guitarrista y fundador de Helloween, Kai Hansen. La banda cuenta con una trayectoria de casi 20 años a lo largo de los cuales han publicado 8 discos de estudio, 2 directos y una recopilación con temas regrabados.
Ralf Scheepers (actualmente cantante de Primal Fear) se encargó de cantar en los inicios de la banda, concretamente en sus tres primeros albums,despues del tercer álbum hizo una prueba para entrar de cantante en los miticos JUDAS PRIEST. Esto hizo que hubieran fricciones entre el y Kai Hansen, poco tiempo despues y justo al principio de entrar a grabar su obra magna, "Land of the free". Kai entonces le pidió a Hansi Kusch que cantara él en el disco, pero este se nego, razon por la cual Kai, tuvo que volver a coger el microfono
